I do want to emphasize that in addition to reading pets and their people, I also enjoy reading people that may not even have pets. I began doing psychic readings and energy healings with people only and my love of animals directed me to work directly with them, as well as people. Before beginning to officially work with the world's wild and tame animals, people would come to me with their pet questions. I am excited to be able to offer many different options for people with and without pets, pets, as well as wild animals. To read about my experience reading, healing and communicating with wild animals in captivity, please visit my other blog, http://www.sandiegopsychic.com/.
If you will be near Balboa Park this weekend you can come meet me at the Healing Festival that will be happening there on Sunday. I will be there from 12 noon until 6:00 pm, but the festival actually starts at 10:00 am. I won't be reading there, but will have business cards and my mailing list available. I will be helping to sell t-shirts with Mozis Wear http://www.moziswear.com/. I'm not sure what booth number we are in, but know that we are located by the music stage. If you're in the area, I'd love to meet you!
Thank you for reading my post. Have a great weekend!

Reading and Healing the Wild and Tame

I am very excited to be a part of two wonderful fundraising events to assist animals in need this weekend. On Saturday I will be offering readings at Paw Country, formerly The Holistic Hound and cats too! pet store in La Mesa. Paw Country™ is located at 5652 Lake Murray Blvd. La Mesa, CA 91942 and can be reached at 619-463-1134. They are hosting their One Year Anniversary Celebration on Saturday from 9:00 am - 7:00 pm.
I will be accepting donations for my readings and then contributing them to Elliot Rover's Ride for Life Foundation in conjunction with the San Diego Animal Support Foundation. Elliot will be riding his bike from San Diego to Vancouver B.C. in September. His trek is to raise funds to assist animals who have illnesses and injuries that are in shelters and rescues, or whose owners have limited financial resources. His mission is to help prevent performing euthanasia on animals that have curable life threatening illnesses or injuries. I will be at Paw Country beginning at 10:00 am and with the exception of breaks will be there throughout the day. A schedule will be posted at the store for customers' convenience.
In addition to my readings and Elliot's fundraising, Paw Country will be offering FREE samples, FREE training advice at the "Ask a Trainer" booth and discounted items throughout the store. Come CELEBRATE with us at Paw Country!
On Sunday, I will be offering readings at an adoption event for Pitbull Rescue San Diego. All donations for my readings will be given to the rescue. The event will be at Pet People in Mission Valley located at 5664 Mission Center Road, San Diego. I will be on-site from about 1:00 until either 2 or 3:00.
In addition to that I will be getting involved with a group that has formed to stop the city of San Diego from destroying the off-leash fenced dog area of Fiesta Island. There are plans to make part of this park off limits to off-leash dogs. If you are interested in getting involved, please visit their website http://www.fidosd.com/ at or email them at info@fidosd.org.

Welcome to Wild and Tame

Okay, so you may ask who and/or what is Wild and Tame Communications? My name is Sindi Somers and I am a professional psychic reader, energy healer and meditation teacher, among other things. I also love marketing, promotions, graphic design, visual and performing arts and writing. Pretty much every interest of mine involves communication in some way, so having the word Communications in my business title seemed fitting. A version of the banner above will be on the website I am creating. I don't have the main page Wild and Tame Communications banner done yet. The banner shown here will be on the page that announces my love of and experience in design and writing.
As far as the Wild and Tame part; I love animals. We tend to use the adjectives of wild or tame when describing animals. If we want to attach these adjectives to people, I would like to suggest that we all have both wild AND tame attributes within ourselves. I thought the name Wild and Tame would be a fun business name and to me it is a way to communicate my love of animals and my deep passion for assisting animals in need. I enjoy assisting animals, people and the planet we all call home.
Celebrate your wild side and enjoy your tame side. Wild and Tame - the new yin yang - creating balance in every aspect of ourselves and our lives.
I can be contacted via email at wildandtame@gmail.com or by phone at 619-384-0761. Have a wild and/or tame day!
